This project was a continuation of project WEYDV 02-17. Specifically the study was to provide an initial description of forest ecosystems with respect to composition and stand structure, to review current knowledge of fire patterns and natural disturbance regimes and to collect baseline data on the wildlife resources for the Drayton Valley FMA.
Final reports included, “Fish population inventory and habitat associations in the Baptiste river drainage”, by Thomas Boag and P.J. Hvenegaard, May 1993, “Landscape Vegetation Patterns and Natural Disturbance Regimes within FMA 8500023”, by J.F.Niederleitner and “An Inventory of Terrestrial Resources within Forest Management Agreement Area 8500023”, by Westworth, Brusnyk & Associatiates, Ltd., December, 1996. The final report was entitled, “Fish population inventory and habitat associations in the Baptiste river drainage”, by Thomas Boag and P.J. Hvenegaard, May 1993.
