Object & Deliverables

Weyerhaeuser tree retention in the Edson & Drayton Valley operations builds from previous projects WEYGP-01-78 & WEYDV-02-156,183. This project will build efficiencies using soft copy otho photography, and adding ocular estimates.

Final Report

 

The report “Tree Retention Survey of Cutblocks Established over the 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 Harvest Years in the Pembina Region” was submitted July 29 2011. Prepared by John C Nash, Greenlink Forestry.

Results were compared to a previous report (2006/2007), and showed a volume retention of 16 percent and area retention increased 6 percent.
