The primary objective of this Project was to improve the local residents knowledge of the dynamics and makeup of the forest environment through "partnering" an interpretive trail system c/w appropriate signage.

Over the years of 2000 to 2004 inclusive this Project helped the Town of Edson to establish an educational trail system within and around the community. Six kilometers of trail was constructed, four trailhead signs & 28 educational signs erected along the trail, and rest benches& garbage receptacles were placed at juncture points throughout the system.

Project results are summarized in an eight page report entitled "Edson Town Educational Trail System", prepared by Marty Hemsley, and dated November 10, 2004.
