The purpose of this Project was to improve the forest resource by updating and improving data with which the forest is managed.

The objective of this Project was to produce an Alberta Vegetation Inventory in digital format for use by the Alberta Government and Manning Diversified Forest Products for portions of Forest Management Unit P12. This inventory would include a volume sampling program that would be used to collect data that could be used to link map cover calls to stand attributes such as volume per hectare.

The forest classification and data-loading was completed for this Project, but the volume sampling program was delayed to be completed at a later date under a different project.
