The purpose of this Project was to improve the forest resource by increasing growth rates, increasing survival rates and increasing the blocks capacity to attain its maximum growth.

The objective of this Project was to reduce heavy competition impeding growth rates of young trees through pre-commercial thinning in old Millar Western blocks that have been declared satisfactorily restocked (SR). This Project treated 63.16 hectares of area in CTL W040039.

 

Final Report

The work for this activity occurred in between August and November 1998, prior to FRIP application. A final report was submitted with the FRIP proposal.
