The funding for this project was used to support the continuation of the Sustainable Forest Management Network (SFMN), along with many other funders. The goal of the SFMN is to develop knowledge, strategies, and tools to ensure that Canada’s boreal forests are effectively managed such that biological diversity will be preserved and the resource base will be sustained for future generations.
