Program: FRIP
Sponsor:Spray Lake Sawmills

Object & Deliverables

The overall objective of this monitoring study is to continue collecting data that can be compared to existing information. This data will further assist in the development of a regionally specific ecosystem based timber harvest plan that continues to recognize the inherent value of aquatic resources. To meet the overall project objectives, temporal patterns of selected physicochemical characteristics of surface water, biological diversity of benthic macroinvertebrate, presence or absence of sport fish, and stream habitat characteristics were collected, analyzed, and where applicable compared. The McLean Creek Aquatic Ecosystem Monitoring Study includes six creeks: Fish, Fisher, McLean, Prairie, Quirk, and Silvester.

Final Report
