The purpose of this Project was to reduce vegetative competition for regenerating conifer in stands with a conifer stocking above but near 80%.

The objective of this Project was to treat five cutblocks totalling 85.5 hectares in CTL W010037 with aerial herbicide. ACE Vegetation Limited was contracted to apply the herbicide.

The block layout and approval process was completed for the aerial herbicide application, however, inclement weather prevented completion of the Project until 1998. The aerial herbicide component of this Project was completed under FRIP Project MOSTO-01-03.
