Object & Deliverables

 

The primary purpose of this Project was the provision of supplemental manpower and equipment to Alberta’s Forest Protection Agency, thus enabling a quicker initial attack response on wildfires within the greater Grande Prairie Area.

Project objectives included provision of supplemental manpower/firefighting resources, and completion of forest improvement work during periods of low fire activity.

Final Report

Project activities took place over the 1998 fire season and Project results are contained in a sixteen page report entitled,”Forest Protection” dated January 20th, 1999.
