The purpose of this Project was to enhance the level of understanding of the forest resource and allow for the better management of the forest resource by producing a new forest inventory for the Footner Lake Forest.

The objective of this Project was to complete an Alberta Vegetation Inventory (AVI) for the Footner Lake Forest. The activities covered under this Project included obtaining aerial photos for the entire area, completion of base maps, the completion of 308 of 336 orthophotos, and summary of data compiled from the volume sampling program.

This Project was continuing under Project DMI-01-15.
