Object & Deliverables
The project entailed four years of trials on lodgepole pine in the Lower and Upper Foothills and Subalpine Natural Sub-regions of Alberta. The goal was to forecast and monitor stand development and timber yields associated with enhanced forest management of the area. Measured variables included stand and site parameters prior to or at the time of treatment. Forecast variables will include future stand conditions and timber yields from intermediate and final harvests.
Final Report
This project was continued under WEYDV-02-135 so final reports are in that file. The accepted final report for this project was entitled, “Foothills Growth and Yield Association Regenerated Lodgepole Pine Project, Mensuration/Treatment Verification Report – 2004 Field Season”.
