The primary goals of this Project were land reclamation of abandoned well sites and public education concerning same.

Project objectives included the site preparation & planting of two abandoned well sites comprising 2.23 hectares in total area, and the provision of interpretative signage at each site.

The work was carried out over the Spring and early Summer of 2002. A total of 2.23 hectares were site prepared using a modified "ripper plow" and planted with 3,730 white spruce seedlings. In addition, three interpretative signs were designed, painted and installed at the two sites.
