This Project was undertaken to conduct detailed block volume cruising on the 1999 – 2001 cutblocks, assigned to Rocky Forest Products Association. The objective of the Project was to collect detailed cruise data to facilitate matching volume, species and cutblock characteristics with member specific volume and timber characteristic requirements. Information collected will be used to match the right operator with the right block as well as aid in identifying areas of concern (sensitive areas, steep slopes, mineral licks, etc.).
