This Project’s overall goal was to provide sufficient/accurate information so that Association will be able to confidently select and assign cutblocks that meet member’s specific volume & timber characteristics requirements.

The primary objective of this Project was to update and provide accurate information for the proposed cutblocks assigned to the Rocky Forest Products Association [43 proposed blocks from the R07 – C260 Harvest Plan Area]- as to volume, species composition, average diameters & heights, topographical features and areas of concern.

The detailed timber cruising and mapping was completed in the Summer of 2004.

The information is summarized in a fifty-six page report containing a Project overview, individual block summaries, 1:5,000 scale detailed block maps, plus a hard copy of the R7 C260 Cruise Overview Map [1:15,000 scale].
