The primary goal of this Project was to promote a greater understanding of the forest ecosystem as a whole, and the role of history and research in developing current forest management practices.

Specific Project objectives included:
* continuing to serve the audiences developed over the previous four years & promote a focus on audiences from the local region;
* increasing contact with elementary & secondary teachers in their classrooms; and
* promoting new editions of the secondary field resources for grade seven science, grade nine science, junior high environmental outdoor education, high school CTS forestry & high school biology.

During the spring & autumn sessions for the period 2003 to 2005 inclusive, over 15,600 participants were reached – including direct delivery during field programs, and in-school presentations.

Project results are contained in three annual reports for each the calendar years – 2003, 2004 & 2005.
