A total of 240.9 hectares were tended in the summer of 1998. The objective of the Project was to improve the overall growth and quality of the crop trees on the applicable stands.
A quality control system was instituted which measures the stand tending against the prescriptions. Density management fieldwork has been completed in both the Drayton Valley Forest Management Area and the Edson Forest Management Area.
