Object & Deliverables

 

The primary purpose of this Project was an assessment of wildlife use and biodiversity in cutblocks as well as areas in or adjacent to cutblocks left as wildlife habitat in the Goat Creek Area of Southwest Alberta.

Project objectives included the determination of species diversity, species richness and wildlife use differ between cutblocks with and without habitat enhancement and/or retention treatments.

Project work associated with this Study was carried over the calendar years of 2000 and 2001.

 

Final Report

Final results are contained in a 123 page report entitled “Biodiversity in the Logged Landscape of Goat Creek”, prepared by Dale G. Paton & Clint Symth and dated March 2002.
