Object & Deliverables
The purpose of this Project was the development of forest biodiversity monitoring protocols for a wide range of taxa within the Province of Alberta.
Project objectives included summarizing the broad systemic layout of monitoring sites, development of an optimal re-sampling design, and integration of physical characteristics and taxonomic groups to produce a recommended sampling protocol for the Alberta Forest Biodiversity Monitoring Program.
Final Report
The culmination of about five years of work is contained in a seventy-five page report entitled “The Alberta Forest Biodiversity Monitoring Program: Technical Integration” and dated May 2002.
