The Project summarises the results of the 1999 Stand Tending FRIAA Project, conducted on Weldwood Canada’s FMA. The primary objective was to maintain the coniferous land base by controlling competing deciduous vegetation within pre-1991 harvested cutblocks. In 1999, Weldwood stand tended 1851 hectares, while 2305 hectares were identified as requiring tending.
