The purpose of this Project was to increase the understanding of woodland caribou habitat selection in the Caribou Mountains, Red Earth and Chinchaga (also known as Pedigree) woodland caribou winter ranges.
The objective of this Project was to use radio collaring and aerial relocation, combined with ground back tracking to determine woodland caribou habitat requirements within the ecoregions of northwestern Alberta.
This Project was completed in cooperation with the North West Standing Committee for Caribou (NWSCC). This Project was completed in conjunction with DMI-01-004.
