Object and Deliverables

This project was done in conjunction with Weyerhaeuser’s MPBP-20-05 Mountain Pine Beetle Control project.

Areas determined for control under a FRIAA funded program would complement the areas currently being controlled through single tree and harvesting activities and help to reduce the southern and eastern movement of MPB into other pine forests.

Final Report

 

The program objective was to survey and control as many priority MPB sites as possible before the next beetle flight. The addition of this project funding brought the original proposed number of trees up to 8,022.

A final report was submitted May 28, 2020 by Ian Kwantes of Weyerhaeuser.
