Object & Deliverables

 

The primary purpose of this Project was to provide volume sampling in order to update the coniferous & deciduous Annual Allowable Cut calculations in Forest Management Unit P-14.

Project objectives included the installation of 288 coniferous and 84 deciduous volume sampling plots, provision of field maps of the plot locations as finally established, and sample tree age corings [stored in straws].

Final Report

Field work took place over the period of March & April 2004. This work included the actual plot installations, age sampling, and the quality control auditing.

Results of this Project are summarized in a two-page document entitled “Volume Sampling Contract, Forest Management Unit P14”, prepared by Marty O’Bryne, and dated April 26th, 2004.
