After consultation with FRIAA, Geographic Dynamic Corporation was selected to complete the project using Site Logix as opposed to using ELDAR. The objective of the project was to develop an ecosite map for the Drayton Valley FMA to help integrate ecological information into their planning network. The model is based on three main sources of information: remote data, field data and ecological knowledge. To augment the field data available, 1724 plots were installed across the FMA by several contractors. The final project was completed late summer 1998 with an accuracy of 78.6%. The final report was submitted by Dave Kent entitled, “Final Report – ELDAR 1998”, December 1998.
