The principal objective of this Project was to confirm the potential allowable cut in portions of Forest Management Units A6, 9 & 10 in the Athabasca area of northeastern Alberta.

Project objectives included compilation of the existing Phase III Inventory, identification of the productive land base, generation of Yield Tables using existing data, and generation of several timber supply scenarios using the COMPLAN Model.

The data assimilation & analyses, and the field activities for this Project were carried out during the Spring and early Summer of 1998.

Final results of the Study are contained in a technical report entitled "A Detailed Report of a Timber Supply Analysis for FMU’s A6, A9 and A10", authored by Robert Kennett, Ian McCallum & Cliff Smith and dated June, 1998.
