Object & Deliverables
The purpose of this inventory was to collect and analyse fish habitat and fisheries data in the tributaries of the Berland River – South located in west-central Alberta.
It’s objectives were determination of the fish species present and their distribution; description of the fish habitat; identification of critical sport fish habitat; and provision of sport fish habitat ratings.
Field surveys were carried out in September & October 1996. A total of 24 sections in 11 tributaries were surveyed.
The Project results are described in a 98 page technical report dated March 1997.
