Object & Deliverables

The objective of the project was to improve sport fishing opportunities through partial funding of aeration at the Open Creek Reservoir. This project was carried out by Alberta Conservation Association (ACA) along with a number of other funders. The work was done in late November of 2000 and aeration was begun in late December. Dissolved oxygen samples were completed throughout the winter and except for a period in late December and early January when generators were down, oxygen levels were maintained at suitable levels.

Final Report

The final report was submitted by Kevin Gardiner entitled, “Open Creek Aeration Project”, in March, 2001.
