The purpose of this Project was to continue Manning Diversified Forest Product’s mixedwood management strategy through stand tending.

The objective of this stand tending Project was to improve growth potential of crop trees in blocks that ranged from 5 to 25 years old and had previously been surveyed as satisfactorily restocked.

The activities of this Project included manual brushsaw tending (173.95 ha), aerial herbicide (13.9 ha), basal bark tending (64.3 ha) and fill planting (13.9 ha) to accomplish its objectives.
