The primary purpose of this Projcect was the implementation of an insect and disease monitoring system developed under the auspices of the Northwest Boreal Integrated Pest Management Working Group.
Specific objectives included operationally implementing the system on a broad network of plots, more accurately determining the annual costs/resources required, ascertaining database requirements based on the information collected, and seeking ways of further improving the system.
Work associated with this Project was carried over the Summer & Fall of 2003.
Study results are contained in a five page summary report entitled "Insect and Disease Monitoring Program – 2003", prepared by Mike Maximchuk/Steve Blanton, and dated November 2003.
