Object & Deliverables
The primary purpose of this Project was the location, identification and description of endangered timber resources within Forest Management Units R1 and R4Y in the west-central foothills of Alberta.
Specific objectives included confirmation/refinement of the term “endangered timber”, location/description/mapping of the endangered timber, and digital/hard copy updates of the forest management unit base maps.
Work activities associated with completion of this Project took place over the period December 2002 to August 2003 inclusive.
Final Report
Final results are contained in a eleven page report c/w accompanying hard copy maps, entitled “Endangered Timber Identification”, authored by Boreal Concerns Inc., and dated August 2003.
