The primary objective of this Project was to release the existing conifer seedlings from the competing deciduous sapliings within the cutblocks.

Supplementary objectives included the aerial application of the herbicide glyphosate to reduce competition from grass and deciduous competition.

A total 120.0 hectares on eight cutblocks was treated in CTL W01- 37 over the period August to September 2005.

Project results are summarized in a brief three – page report entitled "Regeneration Survey Data Collection and Aerial Herbicide Project MOSTO-01-12", prepared by Glen Larsen, and dated September 22nd, 2005.
