Object & Deliverables

A parallel to the stream fisheries inventory entitled the Racehorse-Livingstone Fisheries Inventory, but extended into the southern C-5 FMU. Streams included in these additional surveys are: Carbondale River & tributaries, West Castle Riv

 

This Project is a continuation of ATLAS-01-06, it’s ongoing purpose was the sampling of the Carbondale & Castle River drainages plus numerous other streams in the area for fish populations and fish habitat data.

The objectives of the Project are two-fold: to collect and store fish population and fish habitat data in a standardized format and to ensure that Final Reporrusable fisheries data is supplied to partners in a timely manner.

 

Final Report

 

In 2000, crews sampled 91 sites located within the study area and entered the collected data in a standardized provincial data base (FMIS).

Partners in the Project were ASRD – Fish & Wildlife Division, Alberta Conservation Authority, and Atlas Lumber (Alberta)
