Object & Deliverables

The main objective of the project was :

• to complete an assessment of the applicability of managed stand yield curves (MSYC) in FMU E8 during a future FMP process with special focus on pine-dominated openings.
• acquire RSA data for the area of interest, followed by organization and analysis of the data
• conduct a risk-analysis of applying MSYCs by completing a field sample program of conifer site index on post-RSA pine-leading openings, a minimum of five years after the RSA survey.
• Complete an analysis that would forecast the expected yield increases in pine stands, if MSYCs are applied.

The  project was managed by Forsite Consulting. The final report, prepared by THEXLWIZ Consulting Ltd.  was submitted April 16, 2021.
