Object & Deliverables

The primary purpose/objective of this Project was the control of severe grass and shrub competition on 1977 hectares of conifer plantations in the Whitecourt area.

Aerial applications of Vision* herbicide were applied on the competing vegetation over two summer seasons, 1995 & 1996: 965 hectares of carryover from Project BRL-01-13 and 1012 hectares under BRL-01-14. The resultant average costs were $206.42 per hectare.

 

Final Report

The program required2 years to complete. In 1995, BRL completed 472 hectares and the remaining 540 were treated in 1996.
