Object & Deliverables
The primary goal of this Project was to provide a full-time presence to landowners and planning agencies requiring additional information regarding options for sustainable forest management within the “White Area” of Alberta.
Specific Project objectives included increasing awareness of economic & environmental implications of “White Area” forest management; increasing landowner participation in sustainable woodlot management; and encouraging integrated community land use planning.
Final Report
Work associated with and in support of this Project was carried out over the period of July 1st, 2000 to September 30th, 2003, inclusive.
Project results are contained in a twenty-two page final report entitled “Woodlot Extension Program”, prepared by Toso Bozic, and dated December 31, 2003
