This Projects principal aim/objective was the reduction of intra- and inter-specific competition over regenerated cutblocks designated as coniferous land base.
Over the Spring and Summer of 2003 – 1018.33 hectares of regenerated cutblocks were weeded and thinned utilizing brush and chain saws.
A summary report describes the Project and provides block summaries for each of the four contracts. The overall cost amounted to $415.77per hectare. Quality control percentages varied from 93.7 to 98.37 %.
