Reforestation of a portion of a 1999 Burn that was salvage logged. Methodology to be employed includes windrowing, discing and planting 54.0 hectares.

The principal aim & objective of this Project was the partial reforestation of an area burned over by wildfire in 1999 near Calling Lake, Alberta.

 

Final Report

During the Spring and Summer of 2002, approximately 54 hectares of burned over area was windrowed/piled, mounded and planted with about 84,500 pine and spruce seedlings.
