The primary objective of this Project was to provide for Quotaholder representation/participation and supplemental information required in the development of a Detailed Forest Management Plan (DFMP) that involved the R10 Forest Management Unit west-northwest of Rocky Mtn. House, Alberta.

The initial activities associated with this Project were carried out over the years 2003 & 2004. In September of 2004 the submission deadline for the DFMP was extended four years from May 31, 2004 to June 14, 2008. This extension has resulted in a significant Project delay, so it was decided to terminate and re-activate “down-the-road”, should that prove necessary.

Project results are contained in a summary report entitled “Integrated Forest Management Planning in R10 Management Unit”, prepared by Paul King of Rocky Wood Preservers Ltd., and dated November 29, 2004.
