Object & Deliverables
The primary purpose of this Project was the preparation of digital watershed information for the Big Smoky River drainage.
Project objectives included provision of a hydrography data set, a functional DEM data set, and a watershed information data set.
The Project involved creation and cleaning of several GIS data sets. The necessary work was carried out over the period September 1998 to February 1999. Data sets included: hydrography (stream network, stream order classification and stream reach coverage); digital elevation model; data subsets such as slope and aspect class coverages; and watershed data (watershed coverage, boundaries and buffered hydrography).
