Object & Deliverables

The primary purpose of this Project was the identification of enhanced forest management benefits – both financially and in terms of additional tree growth.

Specific objectives included determining current information about the techniques/impacts of forest fertilization, and how to Project economic returns from combinations of thinning, fertilization and other enhanced forest management treatments.

Final Report

This Conference was organized over the years 1999 & 2000 and held in Edmonton, Alberta on March 1st & 2nd, 2001. Speakers were recruited from all over Europe and North America. The “Proceedings” are contained in a 169 page publication comprising the presentations of twenty-five different researchers.
