Object & Deliverables

The EPH database project was a 3-year project, with an objective to bring together data from post-harvest stands focusing on obtaining paired observations   that represented growth trajectories in the 0-30 age range, which had been identified as a data gap for Alberta growth models.

Linked establishment performance survey data from 4,929 openings were obtained from 18 companies distributed across the province of Alberta; this includes ground sampled data from a total of 1,541 sampling units. Data from Historic surveys comprise an additional 1,527 openings, of which 58 were re-measured using RSA Performance survey protocols in 2010/2011.

Final Report

A Master database was developed to house the data, along with associated Alberta Reforestation Information System (ARIS) data, ecological information, and auto-generated summary tables.

The final report was prepared by Katrina Froese and submitted April 3, 2020 by Byron Vriend
