Object & Deliverables
The proposal was to work in conjunction with Work Wild and educate high school students hands-on about tree planting. Objective was to educate Grade 11 and 12 students about what is going on in their community.
Only one of the two proposed days was used for this project. Students and chaperones and accompanying forestry instructors planted 1620 seedlings, and toured a tree planting camp. The final report was presented by Shari Greenlee, RPFT, Silviculture Supervisor, Blue Ridge Lumber, July 4, 2019.
