The primary objective of this Project was to provide an independent timber supply analyses for timber quotas in Forest Management Units L3 & A14 in northeast Alberta.

Specific Project objectives included determining what factors limit or support the timber supply, and identifying which management activities would provide an increase in allowable cut levels from the quota areas.

This Project was initiated in the Spring of 1999 and the final report completed in July of 2002.

Project results are summarized in a six page report entitled "Analysis in Support of a Timber Supply Investment Strategy", prepared by the Forestry Corp. & Ron Sparrow of Millar Western Forest Products Ltd., and dated July 31, 2002.
