Object and Deliverables

The project’s primary objective was to apply aerial herbicide VISION as indicated in ANC-01-002 and ANC-01-005, Development of Intensive Silviculture Plan 1 and 2, created under the FRIP program during the 1995-97 period. Work consisted of two phases, the first of which included implementation of the herbicide application program in which 321.2 hectares of area within W1-29 were treated. The second stage resulted in the development of a report that identified the final results of application.

Final Report

Herbicide application was undertaken to increase the growth potential of regenerated conifer stock by decreasing deciduous and bush competition.
