The primary objective of this Project was to reduce the amount & extent of the vegetative competition impacting the lodgepole pine regeneration.

Over the late Spring and early Summer of 2001, a total of 63.1 hectares in four separate cutblocks were mechanically tended (brushed), significantly reducing the deciduous stocking densities. All found costs amounted to $684.44 per hectare.
